This is an awesome little motel right near the waterfront in Orillia, On. It doesn't look fancy from the street view, but inside it has all the comforts of home (clean comfy bed, flatscreen tv, clean 4pc washroom, AC, microwave and fridge, also a desk/work station). I cannot emphasize how clean it was! Also you park your car right outside your door. Also the gentleman proprietor was very friendly and courteous. And the price was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Maples Motel.

Although the rooms are a bit outdated,our room was nice and clean as were all the towels and such,the bed was nice and comfortable,and the man that helped us with signing in was extremely helpful and a wonderful person to talk to.we were a few minutes late on checking out but weren't harassed at all to hurry up.in all we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this motel to all our freinds and family.

Casino Rama Show - November 8th - The Golden Boys. Called and made a reservation last minute. The Manager/Owner Bob was very accommodating to my mother and I. We arrived after 2:30p.m, The room was nice and clean, with 2 double beds, fresh linens, blankets, separate bathroom. Everything was clean, cozy and fine for a one night stay or even longer. It's only a 15 minute drive to the Casino, close to restaurants, shops, and there is a nice view of the lake down the street. The only thing in room 14, it could use a new flat screen TV. We will stay again, and highly recommend this property. Thanks

We stayed at the Maples Motel in August of 2009. I would highly recommend this motel. We stayed in room #1, the room was very clean, quiet and very affordable! We liked the fact that it was a short walk to the lake and the downtown area. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Next time we travel back to Orillia we plan on making our short term home at the Maples Motel. I would like to thank the owner for his great hospitality! Thank you everything!

As my wife and I have stayed at the motel for short and extended days during the summer, we found that not only are the rooms pristeen but that the staff are quite accomodating with any requests. The location puts you at the heart of the city , steps to the waterfront and the beach, and no more than a five minute walk to the main drag for some great food and shopping. With all that this little gem has to offer, one can't help but return again and again.
